Use the post-onboarding checklist in Growave to quickly set up Rewards, Reviews, and Wishlist features with guided links

After installing Growave, you will find the Setup guide in the form of a post-onboarding checklist located on the Home page of your admin panel, right below the Performance summary section.

This setup guide walks you through the essential configurations for the Rewards, Reviews, and Wishlist apps, as well as steps for activating programs for your existing customers. Each item is supplemented with links to relevant Help Center articles.

This block is dismissible if you prefer to set up the apps independently. Once all steps are completed, the setup guide block will automatically disappear.

How the checklist works

The checklist is divided into four main sections. The first section is expanded by default.

  • As you manually check off all steps in a section, the next section will automatically expand.

  • Almost all steps must be checked off manually by the admin.

  • The only exception is the "Send review request emails for past orders" step, which is completed automatically only after you click the button to send the requests.


Rewards setup

To get your loyalty program up and running, follow these steps:

  1. Configure Rewards program settings: Set order eligibility, reward amounts, product participation, access rules, and VIP enrollment. This ensures your program works correctly. Click Configure settings to begin.

  2. Set up additional rewardable activities and redemption options: Enable actions for customers to earn rewards and configure ways to redeem points for a full loyalty experience. Click Set up activities.

  3. Customize loyalty emails and branding: Personalize reward email notifications and branding elements to match your store’s style before launch. Click Personalize emails.

  4. Add and style loyalty widgets: Install the Loyalty page and pop-ups, then customize their design and placement. Click Add widgets.

Reviews setup

To start collecting and displaying customer feedback:

  1. Configure review settings: Set how Growave handles reviews, including order statuses, auto-publishing rules, and display options. Click Configure settings.

  2. Customize review request emails: Control when and how review request emails are sent, and personalize their content. Click Customize emails.

  3. Add Reviews display widgets: Install and set up review widgets on your site to showcase collected reviews. Click Add widgets.

Wishlist setup

To allow customers to save their favorite products:

  1. Add Wishlist widgets: Set up Wishlist widgets on your store to boost engagement. Click Add widgets.

  2. Customize Wishlist emails: Manage automated Wishlist emails and tailor their content to encourage purchases. Click Customize emails.

Activate programs for existing customers

Ensure your current customers are integrated into your new programs:

  1. Reward customers for past activities: Apply rewards for past actions like completed orders and sign-ups so loyalty points are accurate. Click Reward customers.

  2. Import points, VIP Tiers & birthdates: Import your existing customers’ points, VIP tiers, and birthdates to keep loyalty data consistent. Click Import data.

  3. Send review request emails for past orders: Send review requests for orders made in the last 30 days to quickly collect feedback. Click Send emails.

  4. Import reviews: Transfer your existing review data from another app to start showcasing social proof immediately. Click Import reviews.
