Learn how to customize the content and settings of automated emails sent to your customers.

Overview

The Notification Center allows you to customize the content and template settings for automated emails triggered by the Rewards, Reviews, and Wishlist apps.


Key benefits

  • Customize standard email content: Adjust subjects, titles, banner images, and button texts for individual automated emails.

  • Leverage unique app settings: Configure specific features like discount codes for Rewards, or notification intervals and product recommendations for Wishlist reminders.

  • Create localized messages: Adjust language versions for different email templates to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.


Standard email configuration

Most emails in the Notification Center use a standard set of customization fields. Unless otherwise noted, the following fields are available for a notification:

  • Email language: Select the language for the email content to create localized versions.

  • Expand banner image section: Check this box to add a custom banner image (e.g., with your brand logo) at the top of the specific email template.

  • Subject: Set the email subject line displayed in the customer's inbox.

  • Title: Main heading displayed inside the email.

  • Body: Primary message content.

  • Button: CTA text (e.g., "Redeem reward" or "View wishlist").

  • Content: Footer message shown below the button.

Rewards notifications

The Rewards app triggers notifications based on customer loyalty activity.

Navigation: Go to Growave admin panelRewardsNotifications → click notification title to open the editor.

Standard Rewards emails

The following notifications use the standard email configuration fields without any extra settings:

  • Points earned

  • Points expiration - Warning

  • Points expiration - Last chance

  • Reward expiration - Warning

  • Reward expiration - Last chance

  • Reward for Referring customer

  • Tier unlocked

  • Balance adjusted

Rewards emails with discount codes

The following notifications include all standard fields, plus an additional Discount code block to configure how the generated code appears in the email:

  • Reward received

  • Birthday reward

  • Reward for Referred friend


Reviews notifications

The Reviews app triggers specific emails to help you collect and manage customer feedback.

Navigation: Go to Growave admin panelReviewsNotifications → click notification title to open the editor.

Review requests

You can customize the 1st review request email, 2nd review request reminder, and 3rd review request reminder from the ReviewsNotifications. Because these emails rely on specific order statuses and delay timers, their configuration is handled uniquely.

Community interactions

  • Answer posted: Uses the standard email configuration fields.

  • Reply posted: Uses the standard email configuration fields.

  • Unverified review: Uses the standard email fields, but does not include the "Content" (footer) field.


Wishlist notifications

The Wishlist app triggers emails to remind customers about their saved items and notify them of updates.

Navigation: Go to Growave admin panelWishlistNotifications → click notification title to open the editor.

Wishlist reminders (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

The Saved wishlist notification, 2nd Saved wishlist reminder, and 3rd Saved wishlist reminder include the following unique fields:

  • Notification Interval: Set the delay for when this specific reminder is sent.

  • Include recommended products: A toggle to display upsell/cross-sell items.

  • Discount code: An optional block to offer an incentive.

These templates use the standard email fields, but do not include the "Body" field.

Wishlist item updates

  • Wishlist items on sale: Features the Include recommended products toggle and a unique Recommended products title field. It uses standard fields but does not include the "Body" field.

  • Wishlist items back in stock: Features the Include recommended products toggle. It uses standard fields but does not include the "Body" or "Content" (footer) fields.

B2B and Account emails

  • Activate your account: Uses the standard email configuration fields.

  • Email to approver — wishlist waiting for approval: Uses the standard email fields, but does not include the "Content" (footer) field.

  • Email to members — wishlist fully approved: Uses the standard email fields, but does not include the "Content" (footer) field.
