With the TikTok Shop integration, you can automatically syndicate product reviews collected by Growave to matching products in your TikTok Shop. This helps you bring social proof to a fast-growing sales channel and keep content consistent across platforms.

Before you begin
Confirm plan & region availability: This integration is available for the US-based TikTok Shops starting from Growave Entry plan.
Set up TikTok Shop and connect it to Shopify: Install TikTok’s official Shopify app to sync your catalog from Shopify to TikTok Shop first as products must exist in TikTok Shop before reviews can be matched.
Decide your product matching method in Growave: You’ll choose once and cannot change it later (details below).
Set up TikTok Shop review syndication
1) Connect your Shopify products to TikTok Shop
In Shopify, install and set up the official TikTok app to connect your TikTok Shop.
Sync your products from Shopify to TikTok Shop and wait for the product catalog to finish importing there.

📘 Note
If your TikTok Shop catalog was created outside of Shopify or via a third-party tool, ensure each TikTok product has a valid GTIN that also exists on the corresponding Shopify product.
2) Enable the integration in Growave
Go to Growave admin → Integrations → TikTok Shop.
Choose your product matching method (see table below).
Click Enable and complete the TikTok authorization flow.
⚠️ Important
The matching method is permanent for your store and cannot be changed later. Choose carefully.

3) Wait for reviews to sync
After connection, Growave begins syncing eligible product reviews to TikTok Shop. It may take from one hour to a couple of days, depending on the number of reviews. After initial sync, newly published eligible reviews are sent to TikTok as soon as they appear in Growave.
What gets synced and limitations
Eligible content
Eligible content includes published product reviews from verified buyers in Growave that match TikTok products via your selected method.
Only unincentivized reviews are synced.
Reviews collected through the Leave review earning rule or imported reviews are not included.
Store reviews and Q&A are excluded.
Edits and deletions
TikTok doesn’t support editing or deleting synced reviews. Once a review is published in Growave and synced, it remains visible in TikTok Shop, even if later removed by admin or edited by customers in Growave.
If a synced review violates privacy or policy, merchants must contact their TikTok account manager or TikTok support to request removal or anonymization.
Hidden reviews
Eligible reviews unpublished in Growave before syncing will still appear in TikTok Shop (TikTok requirement).
Display management
TikTok controls how reviews are displayed, including ranking, sorting, and visibility rules.
Reviews syndicated from Growave are included in the product’s total star rating, but they don’t affect the TikTok's shop experience score or other seller metrics.
TikTok may display a “Review from [your website name]” label next to syndicated reviews to indicate their origin.
Reviews are shared across all variants under the same product group (parent SKU). Grouping reviews from unrelated products is not supported.
Re-authorization (keep your connection active)
TikTok requires periodic re-authorization of the connected apps. If authorization expires, syncing stops until you reconnect.
What you’ll see:
You’ll receive an email reminder (sent to your shop owner email in Growave) and see a message in Growave → Integrations → TikTok Shop:
Your TikTok connection is about to expire. Please click Reconnect to keep it active
What to do:
Click Reconnect and complete the TikTok authorization flow.
⚠️ Important
Re-authorization is controlled by TikTok. We’ll remind you ahead of time so you can reconnect and avoid interruptions.
Troubleshooting
Catalog doesn’t match / few reviews appear
Confirm products exist in TikTok Shop. Reviews only sync to TikTok products.
Check your matching method:
External Product ID → Ensure TikTok products came from the official Shopify sync.
Product Identified Code → Ensure identical GTINs are present in both Shopify and TikTok.
Wait out the initial sync for large catalogs.
Some products match, others don’t
If part of the catalog came from Shopify and part was created manually, standardize on GTINs for the non-matching set (update GTINs in both Shopify & TikTok).
Authorization expired
Open Growave → Integrations → TikTok Shop and click Reconnect to restore syncing.
