Managing reviews in Growave

The Manage reviews section in Growave lets you easily view, organize, and manage all reviews submitted by your customers or imported from external sources. You can also respond to reviews and apply bulk actions to keep your reviews up to date.

This guide will show you how to use all the tools available in the Manage reviews section.


How to access the Manage reviews page

  1. Go to your Growave admin panel.

  2. In the main navigation, click Reviews.

  3. You will land on the Manage reviews tab.

Understanding the review card

Each review in the list displays a review card with key information to help you quickly assess and manage the review. Here’s what is shown on the card:

  • Reviewer name.

  • Verified buyer badge — if the reviewer purchased the product in your store.

  • Site review or Product review indicator — product reviews include a link to the product page in your Shopify store.

  • Rating (1 to 5 stars).

  • Review date.

  • Review title (if provided).

  • Review content (body text).

  • Review photo (if provided).

  • Additional fields — any custom fields configured through the Attributes feature (for example, size, fit, quality ratings, etc.).


Bulk actions with reviews

When you select one or more reviews using the checkboxes, you can perform bulk actions from the Actions menu:

  • Publish — publish selected reviews to your site.

  • Unpublish — hide selected reviews from your site.

  • Delete — permanently delete selected reviews.

⚠️ Important

According to Shopify’s policy, you should avoid deleting genuine customer reviews to ensure transparency and trust. Only remove reviews if they clearly violate your review policy or legal guidelines (for example, spam, offensive content, or fake reviews).


Managing individual reviews

For each review, you can take the following actions:

  • Reply — respond to the customer’s review (see below).

  • Publish / Unpublish — toggle the review’s visibility on your site.

  • MoreAdd to Featured — feature the review in widgets.

  • MoreDelete — permanently delete the review.


Managing review replies

When replying to a review:

  • You can publish your reply or mark it as private (visible only to the customer, not shown on site).

  • You can delete an existing reply.

  • You can publish a new reply at any time.


Sorting and filtering reviews

You can organize your reviews using several filters and sorting options:

Sort reviews by:

  • Newest first

  • Oldest first

  • Lowest rating

  • Highest rating

Filter reviews by:

  • Published

  • Pending

  • With response

  • Site review

  • Product review

  • Featured

  • With photos

Filter reviews by source:

  • Imported

  • Published by customers

You can combine multiple filters to quickly find the reviews you want to manage.
