Exploring Growave notifications
After completing the onboarding process and gaining access to the admin panel, you can start setting up notifications for each of your Growave apps.
Notifications allow you to keep your users informed and engaged, making their experience more personal and enhancing your communication strategy. You can easily customize notifications within each app to ensure they meet your users' needs.

Rewards notifications
Setting up Rewards notifications is essential for maintaining an effective Rewards and Loyalty program. These notifications keep your customers informed about their point balances, available rewards, and VIP tier status, helping drive engagement. You can find all Rewards program notification templates in the Notifications section of the Rewards app.
IMPORTANT: Rewards notifications are considered marketing emails, so your customers must be subscribed to your newsletter to receive them.
Points program notifications
Points notifications are a key part of your Loyalty and Rewards program, helping to keep your customers informed and engaged with their points activity. These automated emails update users on their earned points, redeemed rewards, upcoming expirations, and special events like birthdays, encouraging them to stay active and continue earning.
Customizing these notifications ensures your customers always know the value of their loyalty.
- Points earned: Sent when customers complete an action set in the "Ways to earn" section of the Growave admin panel, notifying them of their updated points balance and available rewards.
- Reward redeemed: This notification is triggered when a customer redeems points for rewards, based on your "Ways to redeem" rules.
- Points expiration: Informs customers of upcoming points expiration, encouraging them to use their points. Learn how points expiration works in Growave.
- Celebrate birthday: Sent to notify customers of birthday rewards, which could include points or discounts. Learn how to manage customer birthday rewards.
Referral program notifications
Referral program notifications keep your users updated about rewards earned through referrals. These notifications encourage more engagement and referrals.
- Friend received referral: This email is sent when a friend is referred and receives their reward.
- Referral completed: This email is sent when a member is rewarded for their successful referral.
VIP Tiers and balance change notifications
- Tier Unlocked: Sent to customers when they've unlocked a new VIP tier, building excitement and recognition for their loyalty.
- Balance Changed: Sent when a customer’s point balance is updated by the shop admin.
You can customize the button destination for each email notification in the Rewards program.
- Click the notification title and navigate to the Settings tab.
- From the dropdown menu, select one of the following options:
- Home page and open rewards popup: Opens the shop's main page and triggers the Rewards popup widget.
- Rewards page: Directs users to the Rewards page (available starting from the Growth plan).
- Custom URL: Enter any URL of your choice.
Reviews notifications
Setting up review notifications in the Growave admin panel can significantly enhance your customer engagement strategy. These notifications not only request reviews from your customers but also notify them of any updates or changes related to their reviews. This added layer of communication encourages customers to leave feedback and stay engaged with your store, which can help increase brand trust and visibility.
Review request emails
A series of review request reminders sent when the order's status is marked as fulfilled and paid. The countdown for sending the review request begins after the order meets these conditions. You can customize how many days after the order the email is sent.

Reviews system notifications
Growave also offers several system notifications related to reviews, which can be manually enabled or disabled:

- Unverified review: Sent when a review is submitted but not yet verified.
- Replied to your question: Notifies customers when their product-related question has been answered.
- Replied to your review: Sent when someone replies to a review that the customer has submitted.
- Updated your review: Notifies customers when a review they've written has been updated.
Each notification can be customized and tailored to meet your needs, ensuring that customers stay engaged with the review process and feel valued for their feedback.
Wishlist notifications
Wishlist notifications remind customers of the products they’ve saved, items increasing the likelihood of conversions.
- Saved wishlist notifications: A series of automated reminder emails designed to re-engage your customers and encourage them to revisit their saved items.
- Wishlist item on Sale: This notification is sent when a product from a customer's wishlist, which was not originally discounted, goes on sale.
- Wishlist item back in stock: Triggered when a sold-out item from a customer’s wishlist is restocked.
NOTE: The item must be restocked with at least five units to trigger a back-in-stock notification. Contact our support team if you want to change this number, as it can only be set on our end.
- Activate your account: The Wishlist app's system notification with a request to activate a customer's account.

Gift card notifications
Gift card notifications are sent automatically via Shopify when a customer redeems a gift card. The email includes a link to view the gift card code and a prompt to continue shopping.

General system notifications and custom email domain
In the General section of the Growave admin panel, shop owners can configure system notifications and custom email domain for notifications:
- System notifications: Specify the email address to receive important system notifications.
- Custom email domain: Set the email address from which customers will receive notifications. Learn more about setting up a custom domain.
NOTE: Don't forget to verify your email address, you will find the verification letter in your mailbox.
