Growave gives you full control over your customers’ points balances. If you need to correct a mistake, issue compensation, or remove points for any reason, you can manually adjust the balance directly from the Customers section in the admin panel.

How to adjust points for a customer
Go to the Customers section in the Growave admin panel.
Find and open the customer’s profile.
Click the Edit button next to their points balance.
Choose whether to Add or Deduct points.
Enter the number of points and the reason for the adjustment.
Click Save.
⚠️ Important
Point balances cannot go negative. You can only deduct up to the number of available points.
If you try to deduct more points than the customer has, you’ll receive a warning and the change won’t be saved.
About balance change notifications
Customers will only receive a notification about point changes if they’ve opted in to marketing communications.
To configure the email, go to Rewards → Notifications → Balance changed.
Note: Balance change emails are not sent when importing points in bulk via Import/Export — this prevents spam issues and protects your sender reputation.
Can customers transfer points?
No, Growave does not support direct point transfers between customers. However, you can encourage sharing and referral-based earning through the Referral program.
