How to export Rewards data, including points, referrals, and VIP tiers

Reward programs are essential for e-commerce businesses, driving purchases and building customer loyalty. If you're looking to export your rewards data from Growave, this article provides a clear, step-by-step guide to help you through the process.


Steps to export your Rewards data

  1. In the Growave admin, go to AnalyticsRewards tab, and click the "Create report" button.

  2. Choose the reporting period. You can select a quick range (30, 60, or 90 days) or a custom range (for example, from the date you first installed Growave to the current date).

  3. Enter the email address where you want to receive the report.

  4. Select the types of data you want to export.

  5. Click Send to generate the report.

You will receive an email with a link to download the CSV file containing the selected data. The download link will be active for 7 days for security reasons and data storage requirements.

⚠️ Important

By default, the report will be sent to your Shopify email address. To add or update the default email address where the CSV file is sent, go to the Growave admin panelSettingsGeneralSystem notification

Rewards data available for exporting

Data type

Customer email addresses

Customer name

First and last names of customers

Birthday

Customer birthdays in DD/MM format.

Earned points

Total points earned in the selected period (including manual adjustments)

Spent points

Total points redeemed in the selected period (including manual adjustments)

Current balance

Customer's current points balance

Expired points

Total number of expired points

Points expiration date

Dates when points will expire (if the expiration function is enabled)

VIP Tier

Customer's VIP tier (if VIP Tiers Program is set up)

Referrals

Number of people referred by the customer

Active rewards

All active (unused) discount codes (comma-separated)

Issued rewards

All active and used discount codes (comma-separated).

Completed actions

Actions completed to earn rewards, including types and counts (e.g., Leave a review — 2 times).


FAQ

Can I export customer registration dates from Growave?

No, Growave does not include customer registration timestamps in any exportable files (e.g., Rewards, Reviews, or Wishlist reports).

Shopify’s own customer export also does not include a registration or “created at” date. If you need this information, you can:

  • View it manually in the Shopify admin → Customers → [Customer Profile].

  • Export customer data via the Shopify Admin API, which includes a created_at field.
