The Rewards page is available for Growave 2.0 users starting from the Growth plan.
Rewards page overview
The Rewards page is a storefront page that displays your loyalty program details. You can customize this page with Shopify standard sections and Growave widgets to show:
How your Rewards program works
Ways to earn and spend points
Referral program information
VIP tiers
Available rewards
Reward history
Loyalty FAQ
Key benefits
Boost engagement by making your loyalty program easy to understand.
Increase conversions with clear earning and redemption flows.
Reinforce branding with a fully customizable layout.
Before you start
Make sure your Loyalty and Rewards program is configured:
Configure the Referral program.
Customize Rewards settings and notifications.
Set up your Rewards page
Step 1 โ Create the Rewards page
In the Growave admin, go to the Rewards โ Rewards page.
Choose a Shopify theme (live or unpublished) where you want to create the page.
Set your desired URL (e.g.
yourshop.com/pages/rewards
).Click Create page.
โ ๏ธ Important
If a page with this URL already exists, you'll see an error. You can change the URL at any time.
Step 2 โ Open the page in Shopify theme editor
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store โ Themes โ Customize.
In the top dropdown, choose Pages โ growave-reward-page.
You can now customize the Rewards page by adding Growave widgets and Shopify sections, arranging them in any order.
โ ๏ธ Important
Some Shopify sections (like Image banner or Multicolumn) may not be supported by your theme. If you donโt see a specific section, contact your theme developer or try a different theme that supports standard Shopify blocks.
Customize your Rewards page layout
Step 3 โ Add a welcome message
Use an Image banner section to introduce your loyalty program and encourage sign-ups.
In Shopify theme customizer, click Add section โ in Sections tab, select Image banner.
Upload a background image (optional).
Add a headline and short description. Here are some examples:
Join the club, get rewarded โ Earn points for every purchase and redeem them for exclusive rewards.
Rewards just for you โ Sign up and start collecting points for discounts, gifts, and more.
Unlock exclusive rewards โ Earn points, save on future orders, and access special perks.
Get rewarded for shopping โ Join our loyalty program to enjoy faster checkout, birthday rewards, and more.
Add buttons like Join now or Log in.
Click Save.

Keep your headline short and benefit-focused. Avoid long marketing copy.
Step 4 โ Add a โHow it worksโ section
Use a Multicolumn section to explain the steps of your loyalty program:
In the Shopify page editor, click Add section โ Multicolumn.
Add 3 columns to explain the basics, e.g.:
Join for free โ Create an account to start earning points.
Earn points โ Collect points for purchases, referrals, reviews, and more.
Redeem rewards โ Use your points for discounts, gifts, or free shipping.
Optional: Add icons or images to each column for visual appeal.
Click Save.

A short, visual summary helps customers understand the program at a glance โ no need to read through long explanations.
Add and manage Growave widgets
Growave widgets let you display specific parts of your loyalty program on the Rewards page. The available widgets include:
Ways to earn points
Ways to spend points
Available rewards
Referral program
VIP Tiers
History
Rewards FAQ (placeholder widget)
You can mix and match widgets based on which programs are enabled in your store.
๐ Note
When you add a Growave widget in the Shopify theme editor, you may see a โDummy content shownโ badge. This only appears in the customizer preview to help visualize the widget layout. On the live storefront, the widget will display real data from your store and customers.
Step 5 โ Enable Growave app embeds
Growave widgets rely on Shopify App embeds to function correctly on the storefront.
โ ๏ธ Important
App embeds are usually turned on during the onboarding process. However, it's good to double-check, especially if you're working with a new theme or creating a Rewards page manually.
To enable them:
In the Shopify theme editor, click App embeds in the left-hand menu.
Find Growave in the list and toggle it ON.
Click Save.
Step 6 โ Add Growave widgets to your page
In the page customizer, scroll to the Template area.
Click Add section โ Apps tab.
Choose the required widget marked Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist (e.g. Ways to earn points, VIP Tiers, etc.).
Repeat this for each widget you want to display.
Arrange the widgets in your preferred order.
Click Save.
โ ๏ธ Important
When you create a new Rewards page, all relevant Growave widgets are added automatically in the page customizer. However:
Only widgets for active programs (e.g. Points, VIP Tiers, Referrals) will display in the storefront.
The History and Available rewards widgets appear in the storefront only for logged-in, eligible customers.
Step 7 โ Control widget visibility and eligibility
If you've enabled Allow or Forbid tags in the Rewards โ Settings โ Specify customer eligibility section, Rewards page will not display Growave widgets for guests and ineligible users, and show the following messages:
Logged-out users will see:
โRewards program is currently unavailable. Please log in and try again.โ
Logged-in but ineligible users will see:
โRewards program is currently unavailable for your account. Please try again later.โ
You can customize these messages in Growave โ Branding โ Language editor.
In Rewards โ Settings, you can enable Show Rewards widgets to guests checkbox. When turned on:
Guest users will see all Rewards widgets on the page.
They must still log in to redeem rewards.
Eligibility tag settings (Allow / Forbid) still apply after login.
Step 8 โ Place Growave widgets
Ways to earn points / Ways to spend points
These two widgets display all earning and redeeming rules in your loyalty program.
Ways to earn points shows how customers can collect points (e.g. purchases, reviews, social actions).
Ways to spend points shows what customers can get (e.g. discounts, gift cards, free shipping).
These widgets keep your program transparent and easy to follow โ especially for new users.
Available rewards widget
This widget displays rewards that customers have earned or redeemed through Points, Referrals, or VIP Tiers, but have not yet applied.
Only visible to logged-in and eligible customers.
Helps users keep track of unused rewards available for their next purchase.
VIP Tiers widget
Displays all VIP levels, including names, benefits, and the customerโs current tier status.
The current tier card uses the Primary color defined in Growave โ Branding โ Rewards โ General tab โ Theme section โ Primary color, with white text.
Other tier cards use the same color with lower opacity. Their text color adjusts automatically for readability.
Tier rewards and criteria are configured in Growave โ Rewards โ VIP Tiers.
This widget motivates customers to reach higher tiers by clearly showing progression and benefits.
Referral program widget
This widget displays referral rewards and sharing options. It explains how the program works and shows the reward amounts for both the referring customer and the referred friend (e.g. 100 points, 10% off, gift card).
Automatically included when you create a new Rewards page

After adding the Referral program widget to your Rewards page, click the widget block to:
Upload a custom background image
Add custom CSS styles
History widget
The History widget gives customers a detailed view of their Rewards activity. It's only visible to logged-in, eligible customers.
The widget displays:
Earned rewards (e.g. from product reviews, referrals, purchases)
Redeemed rewards (points exchanged for discounts, gift cards, etc.)
Tier achievements (e.g. reached Gold tier, received free shipping)
Manual adjustments (admin-issued point changes or balance updates)
For each entry, the following details are shown:

The History widget helps customers track their progress, see which rewards are active or expired, and understand how theyโve interacted with your program โ improving transparency and engagement.
Step 9 โ Add a Rewards FAQ section
FAQs help customers understand how your loyalty program works and reduce support requests. You can add FAQs in two ways:
Option 1 โ Use Shopifyโs built-in Collapsible content section
In the Shopify theme customizer:
Click Add section โ select Collapsible content.
Manually enter each FAQ question and answer.
Style the content as needed.
Click Save.
Option 2 โ Use the Growave Rewards FAQ placeholder widget
You can display the Rewards FAQ content configured in your Growave admin directly on your storefront. To do this:
This widget automatically pulls FAQ content from your Growave admin settings.
In Shopify page editor, click Add section โ choose Custom Liquid.
Paste the following code:

3. Click Save.

The widget pulls content from Growave โ Branding โ FAQ. Any updates made there will automatically reflect on the Rewards page.
