Overview
Commander by Omniconvert is an AI eCommerce growth platform. When you connect Growave to Commander, Commander imports your Growave product reviews once a day and uses AI to tag each review by sentiment and recurring themes. You can then use these insights to find product issues, reuse the language customers praise, and plan conversion tests.
Requirements
What data Commander syncs from Growave
Commander imports the following data for each Growave review:
Review text
Star rating
Review date
The product the review belongs to (when the product is mapped in Commander)
Commander then adds its own AI-generated sentiment tag (positive, neutral, or negative) and theme tags (for example, fit, shipping, or quality). These tags are created in Commander and are not sent back to Growave.
How to integrate Growave Reviews with Commander
Step 1: Copy your API credentials from Growave
In your Growave admin panel, go to Settings.
Open the API tab.
At the top of the tab, find your API Key and API Secret.
Click the clipboard icon next to each value to copy it. Keep both values ready for the next step.
Step 2: Connect Growave in Commander
In Commander, go to Settings → Integrations.
Open the Reviews category and click the Growave card.
Paste your Growave API Key and API Secret into the matching fields. Both fields are required.
Click Save Connection.
While Commander checks your credentials, the button shows Validating…. After a successful check, Commander starts the first sync in the background.
How the sync works
First sync: Starts right after you click Save Connection.
Ongoing syncs: Commander imports new Growave reviews once a day. You don't need to start these syncs manually.
Sync status: In Commander, go to Settings → Store Status → Supplementary signals and find the Growave reviews sync row. Its cadence shows as Daily.
Sync details: In the same menu, you can see how many reviews were synced and the date of the last sync.
Because Commander syncs once a day, a review published in Growave can take up to a day to appear in Commander.
Where Growave reviews appear in Commander
After the sync, your Growave reviews are used in these Commander areas:
Commander admin → Insights → CX → Reviews: See the following details of the synced reviews: Rating, Review text, Date, Source, Flags, and Sentiment.
Commander admin → Insights → CX → Sentiment: Overall sentiment, sentiment trends, emotional tone, sentiment by product, and positive/negative sentiment drivers.
Commander admin → Insights → Products → JTBD Insights: Recurring themes and customer motivations found in your reviews.
To rerun the AI analysis, use Re-analyze in Commander in Settings → Integrations → Growave. If only some reviews failed to process, use Re-analyze failed to retry just those reviews.
Things to know before you connect
Connect one review app only. Commander doesn't remove duplicate reviews across sources. If you also connect another review app that holds the same reviews (for example, after a migration to Growave), the same review can be counted twice. Connect only your primary review app.
AI tags can be wrong. Commander sentiment and theme tags may miss sarcasm, mixed opinions, or very short reviews. Spot-check the original review text before acting on an insight.
Demo Mode limits. In Commander Demo Mode, re-analysis and file uploads are turned off.
