Overview
The Settings page is your control center for managing the technical and administrative aspects of your Growave account. It is divided into three main tabs: General Settings, Billing, and API.
General settings
The General Settings tab allows you to configure administrative notifications, customize your email sending domain, and manage backend tracking features.
Shop owner notifications
Add specific email addresses to receive internal admin alerts, such as data export confirmations and new review updates.
π Learn more in our guide on How to manage shop owner email notifications.
Custom email domain
Enter your brand's specific email address to ensure all automated customer notifications are sent from your domain (e.g., [email protected]) rather than a default Growave address.

Cart selectors
These fields allow you to input your specific Shopify theme's CSS IDs (like #cart-bubble or #cart-total). This syncs your shopping cart data with Growave so that your cart counter updates automatically whenever a new item is added via a Growave widget.
Order tagging
This tool automatically adds tags to your Shopify orders that were generated or influenced by Growave interactions. This simplifies your analytics and helps you easily segment orders directly within your Shopify admin.
When Order tagging is enabled:
The system adds the
GrowaveandGrowave_wishlisttags to orders that were generated through Wishlist widgets or by clicking through Wishlist email notifications.Orders that use discounts or gift cards generated by the Rewards programs will receive two tags:
Growaveand a specific system tag depending on the customer type:Growave_rewardsβ for standard retail (D2C) orders.Growave_b2b_rewardsβ for wholesale (B2B) orders.
β οΈ Important
The application of Store Credit issued via Growave is not tracked by the tagging system and will not trigger automatic tags.
If an order is refunded, any previously assigned Growave tags are not automatically removed.
Billing
The Billing tab is where you manage your Growave subscription.
From this tab, you can:
View the details and limits of your Current plan.
Compare available tiers (Free, Entry, Growth, Plus, and Unlimited).
Click Upgrade or Downgrade to change your active subscription.
Enter and apply a promotional code in the Discount Code field.
API
The API tab provides the credentials needed for custom development and connecting specific third-party integrations.
π Feature availability
Access to the API tab and developer toolkit is available on the Plus plan and above.
Locating your API credentials
At the top of the tab, you will find your unique API Key and API Secret. You can copy these securely using the clipboard icons next to each field to authenticate your custom integrations or explore our API Docs.
Managing API Tokens
Tokens grant specific, scoped permissions to external apps or developers interacting with your Growave data.
How to create a new token:
Navigate to the API tab and click Create token.
Enter a clear Description so you can identify the token later (e.g., "Mobile app integration").
Select the required Scopes using the checkboxes. You can grant read or write access for specific endpoints:

Choose an Expiration period from the dropdown menu (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or No expiration date).
Save your token. It will now appear in your Tokens list, where you can manage or revoke it using the Actions menu.
