Overview

The Wishlist app allows customers to save their favorite products, reducing cart abandonment and providing you with insights into customer preferences. By following this guide, you will configure your wishlist logic, enable automated reminders, and display the wishlist on your storefront to start converting interest into sales.

Key benefits

  • Reduce abandonment: Send targeted emails to customers about saved items.

  • Guest engagement: Capture guest emails when they save items to their wishlist.

  • Inventory insights: Track "Most loved" and "Out-of-stock" favorites, as well as Wishlists revenue, customer activity and notifications performance in the analytics section.

Step 1: Configure Wishlist logic

Before enabling the app, define how the wishlist behaves in the backend.

  1. Navigate to Wishlist β†’ Settings.

  2. Require guests to provide email addresses: Check this box to prompt guests to enter their email before adding items. Learn more

  3. Remove items from wishlist upon purchase: Enable this to automatically delete products from a user's wishlist once the order status reaches "fulfilled".

  4. Share Wishlist: Select the platforms (Facebook, X, WhatsApp, etc.) you want to allow customers to use for sharing their lists.

Match the wishlist interface to your store's brand identity.

  1. Navigate to Branding β†’ Wishlist.

  2. Adjust colors, button styles, and icons.
