Overview
The Home page is the main landing page of the admin panel, providing a performance overview, a quick setup guide, and support contact cards. It also includes the app status block with info on the App embeds and Growave widgets installed, and a referral offer block.
Key sections of the Home page
Performance summary
This section gives you a quick glance at your key metrics over the last 30, 60, or 90 days, including total revenue generated, new members, rewards redeemed, review requests sent, reviews collected, wishlists created, and items added to wishlists.

App status
This section allows you to verify the operational status of the Growave app based on your App embeds, and lets you see exactly which Growave widgets are installed or not installed in your selected theme.
The App status section includes the following:
App status badge: Displays the current App embeds status in the selected theme (e.g., Active or Inactive).
Select theme: A dropdown menu to choose a specific theme to check your App embed and widget installation status.
Open theme: Click this link to open the selected theme directly in the Shopify theme customizer.
Active app blocks: Displays the number of widgets installed on the selected theme (e.g., "You have {x} active app blocks in this theme").
Note: You can add multiple copies of the same widget using the Growave custom liquid block and placeholders. However, the Active app blocks counter will only register one instance of that widget, regardless of how many times it is duplicated.
Widgets list: Displays all Growave in-page app blocks with their current status (Added or Not added). You can add these blocks through the Onsite widgets menu in the Growave admin panel or via the Shopify theme customizer (Add block → Apps).
⚠️ Important
The widgets list does not include:
Pop-ups: Rewards, Reviews, and Wishlist pop-up launchers.
Dedicated pages: The standalone Reviews and Wishlist pages.
Extensions: Growave extensions for Shopify checkout and customer account pages, and POS extensions.
Custom code: Growave widgets code added manually via the Shopify code editor or Shopify's custom liquid blocks.
✅ Tip:
To install widgets on a live or draft theme, navigate to the Onsite widgets menu in the Growave admin, use the Select theme dropdown, and click Add to store under the widget card. Activate App embeds in the Shopify theme customizer for the selected theme to display widgets on your storefront.
App status scenarios
Depending on your current configuration, the App status and Active app blocks will display different information:
App embeds OFF + No widgets installed: The status will show as Inactive with 0 widgets installed. You will see a note: "Widgets will only appear on your storefront when the Growave app embed is enabled for the selected theme." Clicking the Open theme button opens the Shopify theme customizer and automatically activates App embed for the selected theme.
App embeds ON + No widgets installed: The status will show as Active with 0 widgets installed.
App embeds OFF + Widgets are installed: The status will show as Inactive, but the widget count will display the actual number of installed widgets with a note: "Widgets will only appear on your storefront when the Growave app embed is enabled for the selected theme." Clicking the Open theme button opens the Shopify theme customizer and automatically activates App embed for the selected theme.
App embeds ON + Widgets are installed: The status will show as Active and display the actual number of installed widgets. Clicking the Open theme button opens the Shopify theme customizer, App embed remains activated.
