Overview

Review source indicators (icons) appear in the review card next to reviewer's name on your storefront. They show how each review was collected or verified, helping shoppers understand the origin and authenticity of customer feedback. These indicators increase transparency and build trust in the reviews displayed on your store.

Indicator display

  • Reviews without verification or import data appear without any indicators.

  • Indicators are added automatically based on how the review was collected or marked.

  • Icons appear next to the reviewer’s name in the Product reviews widget on product pages, Reviews floating widget, and the Reviews page.

  • A review can display multiple icons at once if several conditions apply, for example, Verified + Imported.

  • When a shopper hovers over an icon, a tooltip displays the corresponding note.
