Review requests for past orders

Review requests for past orders are available on Growth, Plus, and Custom plans.

Getting started

During the post-onboarding process, you will gain access to the feature that allows you to send review requests for your past orders. To make use of this feature, you must complete the critical actions that are highlighted in red. Please note that the ability to send review requests for past orders will only be accessible once you have activated the review request emails.

Review Request emails are sent, if:

  • order status is fulfilled and paid (it is shown and can be set up in your Shopify admin panel)
  • customer is subscribed to the newsletter and receives all marketing emails
  • order was made through Shopify and its channels
  • customer has not left a review for a specific order or product

The 'Send review requests for past orders' action is quite beneficial, although not critical. You also have the flexibility to skip this step and come back to it later in order to collect more reviews. When you click on the 'Send requests' button, review requests will be sent out only for orders completed in the last 30 days, starting from the current date.

NOTE: Review requests for past orders can only be sent one time. After that, this functionality is no longer available. Customers will receive only the first review request email (there will be no second or third, as is common with usual review request emails).
