Instagram UGC gallery layout and display options
Feature availability
Instagram UGC is available starting from the Growth plan.
Growave’s Instagram UGC app provides flexible layout and display options to showcase your Instagram content effectively. You can select from four layouts, each with distinct features, and customize additional settings to enhance engagement and shopping experiences.
Available layouts
- Slider – A compact, scrollable carousel
- Listing – A structured layout with shadows and borders
- Grid – A clean, uniform grid format
- Masonry – A dynamic, column-based grid
Common display options for all layouts
Regardless of the layout you choose, the following customization options are available:
- Sorting – Decide which images to show first: tagged or newest.
- Filter – Choose whether to display all images or only tagged images.
- Show Instagram Stories – Display your Instagram Stories within the gallery.
- High Quality – Enable high-resolution images.
- Enable product quick view – Allow customers to view product details in a popup without leaving the gallery. If the product is tagged and this setting is enabled, customers can buy it directly from the Instagram gallery. If disabled, clicking the "Buy" button in the product popup will lead to the product page on your store.
- On tagged photos display – Control what to show on tagged products:
- "Shop it" button – A direct shopping call-to-action on images.
- Hotspot – An animated hotspot on images.
- Multiple photos post filter – Choose how multi-image posts are displayed: show only tagged images or include all images.
Layout-specific customization
Slider
The Slider layout displays images in a scrollable carousel, making it ideal for saving space while keeping content interactive.
Customization options:
- All common display options
- Spacing between photos: 0-15 px
- Visible posts count – Define how many images are shown at once (Auto – 20)
- Visible posts count on mobile – Adjust the number of images displayed on mobile devices (Auto - 10)
Listing
The Listing layout arranges images with borders and shadows, creating a structured, card-style display.
Customization options:
- All common display options
- Adjust the number of columns and rows
Grid
The Grid layout presents images in a structured format without borders or shadows. A "Load more" button appears at the bottom, allowing customers to explore additional images.

- Adjust the number of rows and columns
- Spacing between photos: 0-15 px
Masonry
The Masonry layout arranges images in a column-based grid with varying row heights, creating a dynamic and modern design. Unlike standard grid layouts, it does not have fixed-height rows.

- Adjust the number of rows
