Getting started with shoppable Instagram galleries
The Instagram UGC (User-Generated Content) app by Growave allows you to showcase your store’s Instagram feed directly on your website, making it easy to display real customer photos, videos, Stories and Reels. With the app, you can create engaging galleries, tag products to make images and videos shoppable, and drive more traffic and sales by integrating Instagram into your storefront.

Edit Instagram widget
In the widget editing window, you can choose the layout, post sorting order, number of rows and spacing between photos. You can also choose to show instagram Stories/Reels, and adjust some advanced settings:
When ready, click the "Save" button in the upper right corner. Instagram UGC will start pulling data from your Instagram page.
Moderate photos
Once your gallery is live, you can manage the photos by hiding any unnecessary ones. Simply hover over the photo and deselect it:
Tag products and add links to photos
- Open a photo in your gallery.
- Start typing your product name in the tagging field and select the relevant product from the drop-down.
- To add a link instead, simply paste the desired URL in the same field.
NOTE: If you add a link without tagging a product, the "Buy" button won't be display next to the product name in the gallery. This is because links can point to any page. If you use a Shopify Product page link instead of tagging a product, this gallery won't appear on the product page.
Activate shoppable Instagram page
- Select the gallery you created.
- Click to select the gallery layout. By default, this section displays the layout you have chosen when creating a widget.
- Click the "Save" button to activate the gallery and the corresponding page on your store.
- Copy the link to you shoppable Instagram page and test it.
This is how a shoppable instagram page may look on the storefront (with the "SHOP IT" button option activated):
Clicking the "SHOP IT" button will open a popup window with a product card linking to the Instagram post and the "BUY" button:
