B2B Loyalty info extension

Display company loyalty points and rewards directly in customer accounts

Overview

The B2B Loyalty info extension allows company members to view and manage their shared loyalty points and rewards directly from their account page. It uses the same Loyalty info extension as the retail loyalty program but automatically switches to display B2B program data when a company customer logs in.

The B2B Loyalty info extension is available for Shopify Plus merchants using the Growave Plus or Unlimited plan.

Requires new Shopify Customer accounts.


How to set up the Loyalty info extension

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.

  2. In the page selector at the top, choose Checkout and customer accounts.

  3. In the left sidebar, click the Apps icon.

  4. Click the + (plus) icon next to Loyalty info.

  5. Choose where to display the extension — either on the Profile page or the Orders page.

  6. Click Save to apply changes.

You can reposition or remove the Loyalty info extension at any time from the same Customize view.


How the extension works for B2B customers

When a company member logs in, the Loyalty info extension automatically shows company-level loyalty information, including:

  • The company’s total points balance.

  • The current reward status, displayed in one of three states:

    • Earn more points to redeem rewards — the company hasn’t earned enough points yet.

    • Your reward — the reward is ready to be redeemed.

    • Ready to apply — appears only when an additional reward is generated after one has already been applied.


Reward state logic

The Ready to apply state appears only when the company has more than one active reward. This is because the B2B reward flow differs from the retail Points program:

  • After generating the first reward, the Ready to apply state will not appear.

  • The Ready to apply state appears only for new rewards created while another reward is already applied.

  • The visible reward corresponds to the one listed under View your rewards in the Rewards popup.

The Loyalty info extension includes a View rewards button. When clicked, it redirects company members to the storefront homepage and automatically opens the Rewards popup widget, where they can:

  • View the company’s total points balance.

  • Earn additional points through available actions.

  • Redeem new rewards.

  • Apply existing rewards at checkout.

⚠️ Important

  • All members of the same company share a single points balance and reward pool.

  • Any action that earns or redeems points affects the company’s overall balance, and all members see the same updated information in both the extension and the Rewards popup.
