How to use Referral analytics in Growave

Track referral-driven revenue, traffic, and conversions to optimize your program.

Referral analytics in Growave (Growave adminRewardsAnalyticsReferral program) helps you measure how effective your Referral program is at attracting new customers and driving sales. You can view key performance metrics, monitor top referrers, and assess conversion trends over time.

  • Measure program revenue — See how much revenue your referrals generate compared to other rewards initiatives.

  • Track referral engagement — Understand how often customers share referral links and how much traffic they drive.

  • Spot high performers — Identify customers who refer the most new buyers.

  • Refine incentives — Adjust rewards to boost participation and conversions.


Metrics overview

This section shows the key numbers that define your Referral program’s performance. Use them to measure reach, conversion, and revenue impact.

You can filter data by predefined periods (Last 30, 60, or 90 days) or set a custom date range to match your analysis needs.

Description

Referred sales

Total revenue generated from orders placed by referred customers during the selected period.

Referral traffic

Number of visits from referral links across all channels (Facebook, X, Email, Thank you page widget, etc.).

Referral conversion rate

Percentage of referred visits that resulted in completed purchases.


Engagement graph

Below the metrics, a visual chart compares:

  • Shared links — Number of referral links shared by customers.

  • Generated traffic — Number of visits generated by those shared links.

Use this chart to quickly assess engagement and link effectiveness.


Overview dashboard

The dashboard lists individual referral events so you can track customer activity, reward issuance, and order outcomes. You can search by customer and filter results by referral status (pending or completed) to focus on the data that matters most.

Description

Referred customer

Email address of the customer who was referred.

Status

Shows whether the referral is completed or pending.

Order summary

Order number, value (if the referral resulted in a purchase).

Sender reward

Reward code issued to the referring customer, clickable to view details.

Date

The date the referral event was recorded.

Exporting referrals data

If you need a deeper analysis, you can export your Referral program data:

  • On the Rewards analytics page, click the Create a report button.

  • Choose a quick range (30, 60, 90 days) or a custom date range.

  • Enter your email and select the data fields to include. e.g., Referring customer name and Number of referrals in the selected period.

After generating the report, you’ll receive an email with a CSV file download link for analysis in Excel or other tools.


Differences in Growave 1.0

If you're using Growave 1.0, the Referrals analytics dashboard includes fewer metrics:

  • Sales generated.

  • Generated Traffic.

  • Activity log (same structure as 2.0).
