However, if you plan to create custom email templates, it’s essential to understand that Omnisend uses its own variable templating system. Variables in Growave emails follow this format: [[event.VARIABLE_NAME]].
Variables used in notifications
Each notification in Omnisend relies on specific variables to personalize content. Below is a detailed breakdown of notifications and their associated variables:
Birthday reward
customerName: Customer's name.shopUrl: URL of your shop.shopName: Name of your shop.reward: Indicates the type of reward — either "reward" or "points," depending on your rewards configuration.rewardCode: Discount code for the reward.rewardPoints: Number of points given to the user. Used only whenrewardis equal to "points."buttonUrl: Link to the rewards page or a page where the discount code can be applied, depending on your settings.rewardExpirationDate: Expiration date of the discount code. If no expiration date is set, this variable will be NULL.
Points earned
