How to reward members for reaching a VIP tier

In this article, you'll learn how to reward your members when they reach a VIP tier within Growave’s VIP Tiers program. We’ll cover the available rewarding options, including setting up discounts or points as rewards, and provide guidelines on how to configure these rewards.

NOTE: It is not possible to set up multiple rewards for a single tier.


Let's explore the specifics of setting up VIP Tiers in Growave.

  1. Navigate to the VIP Tiers section in the Growave admin panel and click the "Add Tier" button:

  1. Enter the Tier Name and Description, and upload the Tier image or icon:

  1. Select the Milestone to achieve a tier. Learn how to choose a milestone depending on your business needs.
  2. Set up Points multiplier:

NOTE: The Points multiplier feature multiplies the number of points the users receive after reaching a tier. For example, without a VIP tier, the user may receive 100 points for leaving a review. If you set up a multiplier of 2 for a certain tier, each time a customer with that tier leaves a review, the points will be multiplied by 2, resulting in 200 points

  1. Choose the appropriate reward option from the list: Points, Discount, Gift card, Free product, or No reward.

  • Points: Assign a specific number of points for reaching a tier. Users can later redeem these points according to the available spending rules.
  • Discounts: Offer Fixed Amount, Percentage discounts, or Free Shipping. You can specify the value for Percentage and Fixed Amount discounts.
  • Gift cards: Provide a gift card value that can be used toward future orders from your online store. For more details, refer to the How to Use Gift Cards guide.
  • Free Product: Choose any product as a reward. Learn how to use Free products as a reward.
  • No Reward: Users will not receive any reward for reaching a tier.
  1. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

NOTE: If you decide to update the reward option, previously assigned but unused rewards will be canceled and will no longer be available to customers (except for points).
