How to reward members for reaching a VIP tier

You might be wondering if it's a good idea to reward members when getting to a certain level or leave it as is without sharing any perks. In Growave's VIP tiers program, you may go either way.

Rewarding options of VIP tiers will allow you to set up discounts or points as a reward.

However, please note that it's not possible to set up multiple rewards for a tier.


Let's dive into more specific details about the VIP Tiers setting.

1) Go to the VIP tiers listing and create a tier by clicking on the "Add new" button:

2) Fill out the Tier Name and Description details in the tier and select the Tier image:

4) Set up points multiplier:

NOTE: The Multiply points feature of VIP tiers multiplies the number of points the users receive after reaching a tier. For example, without a VIP tier, the user may receive 100 points for leaving a review. You may set up a multiplier as 2 for a certain tier, then each time customer with the tier leaves a review, the points will be multiplied by 2, which counts for 200 points.

5) And then, select the needed option to reward among the listed ones below:

No reward - means that users will not get any reward for reaching a tier.

Points - you may assign any number of points for getting to a certain level. The users may later redeem them for available spending rules.

Discounts - you can assign Free shipping, Percentage, and Fixed amount discounts as a reward.

You may specify the value of the discount for Percentage and Fixed amount types.

Gift card is a special type of product. Its value can be used as payment toward future orders from your online store. For more details, be sure to check out this guide.

6) Enable the tier and click on the "Save" button:

NOTE: In case you update the reward option for the Tier, the previously given and not used rewards will be deducted.
