If someone buys an item from the Wishlist, is it removed from the Wishlist?

In Growave 2.0 (for users who joined after January 22, 2024), you can enable automatic removal of purchased products from the Wishlist. Go to WishlistSettings and select the Delete purchased products from Wishlist checkbox.

If this setting is not enabled, items will remain on the Wishlist after purchase.

In Growave 1.0, customers can manually remove products from the Wishlist by clicking the relevant icon on the Wishlist page or the Wishlist button on the product page:

Customers can also remove items from the Wishlist widget by clicking the three dots next to the product name and selecting Delete (Growave 1.0) or by clicking the trash bin icon next to the product title (Growave 2.0):


Can I use the Growave Wishlist button with page builders?

Yes, you can add the Growave Wishlist button when using supported Shopify page builders like GemPages and PageFly. For step-by-step instructions, refer to our integration guides:


Can customers add items to the Wishlist without logging in?

Yes, customers can add items to the Wishlist even if they are not logged in or registered. In Growave admin, go to WishlistSettings tab → disable the "Require guests to provide email to access Wishlist" checkbox.

Can I customize the Wishlist button?

Yes, you can customize the add-to-wishlist button and other Wishlist app elements in the Branding section of the Growave admin panel. Available customization options depend on the Growave version: legacy — Growave 1.0 or current — Growave 2.0.


Can I translate the Wishlist app to other languages?

Yes, you can translate the wording in the Wishlist app. First, add the required language from the Shopify admin. Learn how to do that from our guide.

Then, in the Growave admin, go to BrandingLanguages. Search for the text you want to change and add your translation.


How do I change the wording of Wishlist widgets and buttons?

All wording used in Wishlist widgets and buttons (e.g., “Add to wishlist”, “Remove from wishlist”, or “Go to wishlist page”) can be customized through the Branding → Languages section in your Growave admin.

Steps:

  1. In your Growave admin, go to Branding → Languages → Wishlist.

  2. Use the search bar to find the phrase you want to edit (e.g., “Add to wishlist”).

  3. Replace it with your preferred wording (for example, “Add to favorites”).

  4. Save changes.

The updated wording will instantly apply across all Wishlist-related buttons and widgets on your storefront.

⚠️ Important

Do not edit variables inside curly brackets (like {{quantity}}), as this may break the widget.


How many items can be added to the Wishlist?

There is no limit to the number of items that can be added to the Wishlist. All items will be saved under the Wishlist widget or on a dedicated Wishlist page.


How to share a Wishlist?

Customers can easily share their Wishlist products with friends through various options, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or email. This feature is available on all Growave plans. Customers can also share their Wishlist boards. Find more information about Wishlist boards here.

To allow customers to share their wishlists, go to WishlistSettings and select the checkbox in the Share wishlist section:

Why is the wishlist number (counter) missing?

The wishlist number above the heart icon in product cards or in the Wishlist button is called the Wishlist counter. It shows how many customers have added a product to their wishlist.

  • To enable it, go to Growave admin → Branding → Wishlist and turn on Show wishlist counter.

  • Once enabled, the counter will display on product cards and Wishlist buttons across your store (if you've already installed them).

  • If the option is already enabled but the number still isn’t visible, please contact our support team members. This might happen if your theme or a migration update affects the display.
