If you're using Klaviyo to manage review requests, here’s how to ensure events from Growave are sent correctly and how to configure your flows for each reminder.

Review request emails overview

Growave supports up to three review request emails per order:

  1. First review request email

  2. Second review request reminder

  3. Third review request reminder

When Klaviyo integration is enabled with the Reviews app selected, Growave will not send the emails itself — instead, it will send event data to Klaviyo. You must create your review request email flows in Klaviyo.

Growave sends the GrowaveReviewRequest event to Klaviyo for each email (initial + reminders). You can use this event to trigger custom flows in Klaviyo.

How to set it up

1. Enable Reviews app in Growave

  • Go to Reviews → Notifications.

  • Make sure Review request and both reminder toggles are turned on.

  • Click the Review request title to configure the delay intervals between emails.

(You can set and change reminder intervals before or after integration with Klaviyo).

2. Choose when to send review requests

  • Go to Reviews → Settings → Review request rules → Send review requests based on order status.

  • Select order status that should trigger review requests: Paid, Fulfilled, or Delivered.

  • Review request event now considers both order status and intervals.

Growave - Reviews - Review request rules - Send review request

3. Activate the Reviews app in Klaviyo integration card

  • Go to Growave → Integrations → Klaviyo app card.

  • Make sure the Reviews checkbox is selected. This allows Growave to send the GrowaveReviewRequest event.

Set up Review flows in Klaviyo

  • In Klaviyo, create a review request flow triggered by the GrowaveReviewRequest event. Add a trigger filter where remind_round = 1.

  • For reminder emails, create two separate flows with the following remind_round trigger filters:

    • Reminder 2: remind_round = 2

    • Reminder 3: remind_round = 3
