Instagram UGC is available starting from the Growth plan.
After setting up your Instagram gallery, you can embed it on your Shopify store’s homepage using one of the following methods:
Add Instagram gallery through theme customizer
Take note of Gallery ID and Widget ID in Instagram UGC:
In Growave admin, go to Instagram UGC → Galleries tab → find Gallery ID in the upper left corner of the gallery card:
Click gallery title and find Widget ID in the Layout settings sidebar:
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Click Add section → Apps → Instagram (Main).
Enter the Gallery ID and Widget ID manually to display the correct gallery.
Use the Home widget embed code
In Growave admin, go to Instagram UGC → Galleries → select a gallery → click "Edit" in the Layout settings box. This triggers a side drawer with gallery settings. Copy the code using the Home widget code button.
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Select the homepage, then click Add section → Custom Liquid.
Paste the copied embed code into the Custom Liquid section and save the changes.
Both methods allow you to display Instagram UGC directly on your homepage, enhancing your store’s social proof and engagement.
