Introduction to Growave V2 features
Growave V2 introduces a range of new features and improvements designed to enhance your customer retention strategies. These updates deliver faster performance, a smoother user experience, and additional functionalities. Below is an overview of the key features available in Growave V2.
IMPORTANT: Please note that customers using the legacy storefront (Growave V1) will not have access to the new features and updates introduced in Growave V2. All future features and their updates are planned exclusively for Growave V2. Loyalty and Rewards
The Loyalty and Rewards program in Growave V2 includes the following enhancements:
VIP Tiers progress update based on the last customer activity
This feature in the Rewards → Settings section allows you to set up tier enrollment based on the customer's most recent activity, ensuring their VIP status reflects their current engagement level. Activity means placing a certain number of orders, earning a specified amount of points, or spending a specific amount in your shop, depending on the selected milestone.
EXAMPLE: If a customer's last activity was 5 days ago and the threshold is set to 10 days, the system will track their activity over the past 10 days and review their VIP status 10 days after the last activity.
NOTE: If a customer does not perform any actions within the specified period, their tier may be downgraded or a customer may be removed from the VIP Tiers program if they no longer meet the entry criteria. VIP Tiers are available on the Growth plan and above.
Perks in VIP Tiers
As part of Growave V2, the Perks feature offers an exciting new way to enhance your VIP Tiers and provide even more value to your loyal customers.
Available with the Growth plan on the new storefront, this feature allows you to add up to five custom perks per tier, giving you more flexibility in how you reward your top customers outside of the traditional loyalty program.
Key highlights:
- You can enable the Perks feature when editing VIP Tiers in the admin panel by checking the box in the new Perks section.
- Add up to five perks per tier, providing customers with additional benefits beyond earning and redeeming points.
- Perks can include anything from exclusive content to early access to sales or special gifts.
- The feature supports multilingual setup, allowing you to offer perks in different languages for your international customers.
By utilizing this feature, you can create a richer, more tailored experience for your most loyal customers and increase their engagement with your brand.
Discount combination
When setting up points-spending rules, you can enable discount combinations to allow multiple types of discounts to be applied simultaneously at checkout.
This feature integrates with Shopify’s discount functionality, letting you combine Order, Product, and Shipping discounts in the Redeem Points rules of the Rewards app, thereby enhancing customer savings and loyalty:

Rewards widget customization
Enhanced branding options help to align the Rewards widget and its launcher with your brand’s style. In the Rewards' Branding section of the Growave admin panel, the Popup tab offers customization options for the Rewards widget and the Launcher tab lets you adjust the color, font, style, position, and icon of the Rewards widget launcher.
Instant reward visibility
Customers can instantly view their rewards after performing a rewardable action, without needing to reload the page. This immediate feedback enhances the user experience, provided no reward delay period is configured in the earning rules.
Customers can access their earned rewards in the “View your rewards” section of the Rewards widget.
Improved Rewards page
A dedicated Rewards page is available starting from the Growth plan. You can customize the Rewards page using pre-designed widgets such as Ways to earn points, Ways to spend points, VIP Tiers, and Referral Program.

Enhanced review integration
Rewards for leaving a review are displayed for customers in the "Leave a review" modal window:

The Reviews app has been updated with the following improvements:
Product review translation
With our new review translation feature, you can seamlessly translate review texts using leading machine translation services like DeepL and Google Translate.
This feature is available starting from the Entry plan. It enables customers to view translated reviews directly on the storefront, enhancing their shopping experience and aiding in informed purchasing decisions. Learn how to connect with DeepL or Google Translate to enable this feature.
Wishlist integration
Customers can add items from the product review modal window directly to their wishlists:
Consolidated review requests
A single review request email includes up to five products. This email contains template text with the "Write a Review" buttons for each product, along with a message detailing the reward for leaving a review. This approach encourages customers to provide feedback on multiple purchases in one go, enhancing your store’s credibility and customer trust.
Simplified review collection flow
We have simplified the review collection process. Previously, customers received review request emails that redirected them to the site. Now, we display a pop-up with a streamlined process for collecting reviews.
This update eliminates unnecessary information and links that might distract users, enhancing conversion rates and increasing the number of reviews collected:
Reviews widget branding and reviewer name settings
The Reviews widget has new branding options and settings to display shortened or full versions of the reviewer's name:
Wishlists
The Wishlists app now includes these enhancements:
Product variables
This feature allows you to add product variables to wishlists for enhanced item tracking. It includes support for B2B accounts, enabling them to view alternative wholesale pricing for products and their variables. This improvement ensures more accurate and personalized wishlists, thereby enhancing the customer experience and facilitating more informed purchasing decisions.
Email product recommendations
Send product recommendations based on customers' wishlist activities.
Navigate to Wishlist → Notifications, click the notifications email title, and select the "Include recommended products" checkbox:
This option can be switched on for the following Wishlist notifications:
- Saved Wishlist notification
- 1st Saved Wishlist reminder
- 2nd Saved Wishlist reminder
- Wishlist items on sale (available on Growth plan and above)
- Wishlist items back in stock (available on Growth plan and above)
Removal of items from wishlist upon purchase
Automatically remove products from the wishlist once they have been purchased:
