Integration with Gorgias: pulling data from Growave

Gorgias is a comprehensive customer support platform that centralizes communication channels, enabling you to manage customer interactions efficiently. Integrating Growave with Gorgias allows you to access key customer data directly within Gorgias, including point balances, referrals, VIP Tier status, and recent reviews.

NOTE: The legacy authorization method was deprecated at the end of June 2024. To ensure uninterrupted functionality, switch your Gorgias authorization to OAuth2 (see note in Step 4 below).


Set up the Gorgias integration

  • Step 1: Go to the Integrations page in the Growave admin panel and locate the Gorgias app card.

  • Step 2: If you are setting up Gorgias for the first time, click Install and follow Shopify instructions.

  • Step 3: Once installed, log into the Gorgias app and copy your account name. This can be found at the beginning of the account URL (e.g., for account.gorgias.com , copy account ).

  • Step 4: Return to the Gorgias app card in the Growave integrations section. Enter your account name in the relevant field and click Enable to initiate integration.

NOTE: If you have been using Gorgias before June 2024, to update your integration and transition to OAuth2, click the Disable button, and then Enable. This will initiate reconnection.

  • Step 5: A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to log in and authorize Growave within Gorgias.

If you’re already logged in in Gorgias, the log-in window will blink and close automatically.

  • Step 6: In the next modal window, click Authorize to allow access to your shop data.

  • Step 7: Once ready, Gorgias will show a window informing about the successful connection.

Add the Growave widget to Gorgias

To display Growave data in customer profiles, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Customers section from the left-side menu in Gorgias.
  2. Select a customer's profile.
  3. Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
  4. Locate the Growave data widget and drag it to the right side of the page.
  5. Click Save changes.

The Growave widget will now display relevant customer data in Gorgias, such as:

  • Current point balances
  • Referral details
  • VIP Tier status
  • Latest reviews

Now that you've integrated Growave with Gorgias, you can manage customer reviews and questions more efficiently. Leverage Growave's widgets to reply directly to reviews and questions within Gorgias, streamlining your workflow and enhancing customer engagement.
