Integrating Growave with Klaviyo Customer Hub

Written by Simon Akhrameev

Overview

Growave’s integration with Klaviyo allows you to seamlessly embed loyalty, VIP tiers, referrals, and pending reviews into Klaviyo’s Customer Hub, enhancing the account experience for your customers. These Growave-powered content blocks deliver personalized engagement directly within the “For you” tab, without requiring code.

Key benefits / use cases

  • Centralized account experience: Shoppers can view their point balance, VIP tier progress, and referral links in one unified drawer.

  • Frictionless review collection: Display pending review requests directly to verified buyers post-purchase.

  • No-code installation: Use pre-built Growave blocks natively inside Klaviyo’s content editor.

Eligibility and requirements

Before setting up the integration, ensure you meet the following prerequisites:

  • Growave: You must be on the Entry plan or above (this uses one integration slot).

  • Klaviyo: You need an active paid plan with the Customer Hub feature enabled.

  • Platform: Your store must use Shopify customer accounts for login and authentication.

  4. Click Add block from the block card. Each block comes pre-configured with personalization tags and Growave links:

    • Points balance: Shows the customer's available points.

Note: If the points balance is not displayed or shows 0 points on your storefront, please remove plural 's' in the default message variable PointsBalance: You have {{ person|lookup:"PointBalance"|default:"0" }} points.

    • VIP Tiers: Displays the current VIP tier status.

    • Referrals: Offers a shareable referral link.

    • Pending reviews: Lists products awaiting reviews after a completed purchase.

  5. Adjust the titles and descriptions of the blocks as needed.

  6. Click Publish.

Here’s an example of how Growave blocks appear in the storefront when a customer clicks the account link or opens the Customer Hub via floating widget:

⚠️ Important

Content blocks and personalized data (points, tier, pending reviews) display only for logged-in users. Anonymous visitors won’t see Growave’s personalized data.

4. Activate Customer Hub in Klaviyo

  • In Klaviyo, go to Customer Hub → Settings → General.

  • Toggle Customer Hub Visibility to Live. This enables consumers to open the Hub using existing account links or floating widget.

How to hide Customer Hub widget

If you are already using Growave’s floating launchers (such as the Rewards pop-up widget or Wishlist floating widget), hiding the Customer Hub launcher minimizes visual overlap and keeps your storefront tidy. You can adjust launcher visibility as follows:

  1. In Klaviyo dashboard, go to Customer HubDesign → click Edit your Hub.

  2. Select Closed state in the preview window.

  3. Under Content tab in the left-side menu, use Visibility dropdown and select Hidden.
