Integrating Growave with Postscript

Postscript empowers Shopify merchants to send personalized SMS campaigns that drive engagement and sales. By integrating with Growave, you can enhance your messaging strategy by triggering personalized SMS notifications based on wishlist activity and review reminders. This creates a cohesive experience that strengthens customer connections.

Supported SMS automation triggers

The integration with Postscript enables SMS automations for the following Growave events:

Wishlist triggers:

  • Favored items are back in stock
  • Reminder about favored items

Review trigger:

  • Review reminder after purchase

Each automation triggered by a Growave event can include dynamic tags to personalize messages with links to the customer's wishlist or review page.

How to activate the integration with Postscript

  1. In the Postscript admin panel, click your account name and go to the API section.
  2. In the API keys menu, generate a new key pair by clicking the Create Security Key Pair button:

  1. In the pop-up modal, click Yes to create a key pair. Then click Show under the Private Key label and copy the value:

  1. In the Growave admin panel, go to Settings → Integrations → find and click the Postscript app card:

  1. Paste your private API key into the relevant field, click Enable and save changes:

Once connected, Growave triggers will be available in Postscript.

Set up automations in Postscript

  1. In the Postscript admin, go to Messaging → Automations.
  2. Click Create Automation and select Create Legacy Automation.
  3. Choose Custom Automation, then select the Growave's automation trigger (e.g. Ssw Wishlist Back In Stock ).
  4. Click Save & Continue to Messages.

  1. Edit the SMS message content using the relevant message tag. For example:
{shop_name}: Hi {first_name}! Products you like are back in stock. Check them out here: {wishlist_page_url}

  1. Save the automation when ready.

Growave automation triggers and tags

Automation Trigger Purpose Message Tag What the Link Does
Ssw Review Request Encourage recent customers to leave a review. {order_review_url} Opens a page where the subscriber can review a recent order.
Ssw Wishlist Back In Stock Notify subscribers that a wishlist item is back in stock. {wishlist_page_url} Directs the subscriber to their wishlist to view the restocked item.
Ssw Wishlist On Save Remind subscribers of items they've saved to their wishlist. {wishlist_page_url} Takes the subscriber to their wishlist to revisit their saved items.
