How to translate reviews for better engagement

This feature is available on a new storefront of Growave version V2. The V2 version applies to customers who joined our app after January 22, 2024.

Effective communication with customers is essential for trust and sales. One key aspect of this is ensuring that product reviews are accessible to all customers, regardless of their language. With the new review translation feature, you can easily translate review texts using leading machine translation services like Deepl and Google Translate. This feature allows customers to view translated reviews directly on the storefront, enhancing their shopping experience and helping them make informed purchasing decisions.

Set up in admin panel

To set up this feature, go to the review settings section Reviews -> Settings -> Translate product reviews, then select the service you want to use for translations:

Google Translate

If you opt for Google Translate as the service for translating your product reviews, kindly adhere to the instructions on how to configure the platform with Growave:

Step 1. Go to Google Translate API and click on "Try translation API."

Step 2. Enable the Translation API

Step 3. Go to the "Credentials" section and create an API key.

Step 4. Copy the created API key

Step 5. Enter the copied API key into the Growave admin panel.

Deepl Service

If you select Deepl as the service for translating your product reviews, there is a similar approach to integrating the platform with Growave:

Step 1. Register at Deepl Pro providing all the necessary information.

Step 2. Copy the API key provided within the DeepL Pro

Step 3. Add the provided API key into the admin panel of Growave
