By integrating GemPages with Growave, you can easily embed features like reviews, star ratings, and wishlist buttons directly into your product and landing pages, helping you drive engagement, build trust, and boost conversions.
Before you begin
Make sure both Growave and GemPages are installed on your Shopify store.
Enable GemPages Theme Helper in your theme:
In Shopify admin, go to Online store → Theme → Customize.
Open the App embeds section and toggle on GemPages Theme Helper:
This ensures styles and widgets are displayed correctly on the live page.
How to add Growave widgets in the GemPages editor
Step 1. Open or create a new page in the GemPages editor:
If you're creating a new page, choose a page type and a template (blank or pre-made).
Step 2. In the editor, click the Shopify Apps icon in the left-side menu and search for the Growave app element. Drag and drop the Growave element into your page layout.
Step 4. Click the element to access its settings:
Choose version: select v.2 (as Growave 1.0 is deprecated)
Choose the widget type you’d like to display:
Reviews widget: Displays product reviews
Review mini slider: Shows reviews in a compact slider format
Star badge: Displays average product ratings
Wishlist button: Lets customers save products to their wishlist
Step 5: To add multiple Growave widgets to the same page, copy the Growave element, drag it in a new location, and select a different widget type.
Step 6: Once your layout is complete, assign the new template to all products, then save and publish the page:
