Order limits in pricing

Growave pricing policy is based on the number of orders per month. The following article describes what will happen if you exceed the limitation and presents examples.

Free plans

Free plans include a limit of 100 orders, with a total limitation of 500 orders for the entire duration of Growave usage. If you exceed a total limit of 500 orders, you will need to switch to a different plan. After exceeding the limit, the 1st notification will be sent 7 days before the entire admin access is restricted. This will be followed by the 2nd notification, which will be sent 3 days before, and finally, the 3rd notification will be sent one day before.

Monthly plans

On each pricing plan, there is a monthly order limit specified (e.g., ‘Medium’ up to 500 orders). If this limit is exceeded, the store owner will receive a total of 3 notification emails. The 1st notification will be sent immediately upon exceeding the limit, the 2nd notification will be sent after three days, and the 3rd notification will be sent after seven days. After the 7th day, certain app features will be temporarily disabled. You can avoid limitations by upgrading to a plan more suited to your store.

Example:

Plan- Medium monthly

Number of orders- 500 per month

1st month - order count: 0/500

At the beginning of the month, John did not exceed the order limit of 432/500.

Orders counter:432/500

No notification

2nd month - order count: 0/500

At the beginning of the month, John exceeded the order limit of 532/500.

Orders counter:532/500

When John gets a 1st notification: at the moment of exceeding (505/500)

When John gets a 2nd notification: after 3 days of exceeding

When John gets a 3rd notification: after 7 days of exceeding

After 7 days of exceeding your order limit, if you did not change your monthly plan, the next app features will be disabled:

Rewards - the widget and tab will be hidden, which means users can continue to earn points but will not be able to redeem them.

Reviews - everything on the review feature will be disabled, including review requests, the widget, and the tab. The review requests email will not be sent to customers if the limit is exceeded.

Wishlist - the widget and ‘Add’ button will remain visible, but the notifications will be turned off and the tab removed.

Notifications - completely disabled.

NOTE:for monthly and annual plans, Growave decided to provide an additional allowance of 5% more orders. This way, users won't face any issues if they go slightly over the usual order limit by 1-3 orders.

Annual plans

In the case of yearly plans, the logic behind counters and warnings slightly differs in the following way:

  • For annual plans, the total order amount is calculated for the entire year (e.g., on the ‘Medium’ plan with a limit of 500 orders, 500*12=6000 orders per year). As with monthly plans, 3 notifications will be sent within two weeks.
  • If a shop owner exceeds the limit, for example, in the 6th month, a 2-week notification period will be still given since the shop was initially provided with the total order amount for the entire year.
  • This automation process is applicable for the Free, Medium, and Growth plans. For Premium and Custom plans, the notification will be sent only to the Sales department of Growave, so they can reach out to the customers and handle the situation. They are also will be given a 2-week period to address the customer's needs.
  • Everything refreshes on a new billing cycle (yearly cycle) only after the plan is upgraded.

Example:

Plan - Medium annual

Number of orders- 500 per month (6000 orders per year)

Installation date: 15.01.2023

1st month - order count: 0/500

At the beginning of the year, John did not exceed the order limit of 532/6000.

Orders counter: 532/6000

Restricted access to admin: no restriction

No notification

2nd - 7th month - order count: 0/500

In the middle of the year, John did not exceed the order limit of 4336/6000.

Orders counter: 4336/6000

Restricted access to admin: no restriction

Orders counter: 6500/6000

Restricted access to admin: no restriction

Excess notification: email notifications will be sent (within 2 weeks)

John gets a notification at the moment of exceeding (6005/6000)

After a 2-week of exceeding your order limit, if you did not change your annual plan, the next app features will be disabled:

Rewards - the widget and tab will be hidden, which means users can continue to earn points but will not be able to redeem them.

Reviews - everything on the review feature will be disabled, including review requests, the widget, and the tab. The review requests will not be sent to customers if the limit is exceeded.

Notifications - completely disabled
